Version 1.0.1 - Routing Performance & Reliability Improvements

We’ve made significant performance enhancements to the SHARE platform that make routing faster, more reliable, and more consistent. Trips now spend less time in the “Routing” status, which improves efficiency for both manual and automated routing processes. In addition, these updates may also help improve workflows such as “Deactivate rider and cancel all trips.” Overall, these changes provide a smoother, more predictable experience for SHARE Admin users and help ensure riders receive timely trip confirmations.

SHARE Admin Details

• Reduced the time that trips sit in “Routing” status.
  • Trips now spend less time in the “Routing” status, improving overall efficiency and predictability.
• Reduced the likelihood of routes becoming stuck in the “Routing” status.
  • Trips should no longer sit in “Routing” status for an extended period of time, decreasing the likelihood of manual intervention.
• User-initiated workflows complete significantly faster and consistently across the following routing scenarios:
  • Daily Routing (Button)
  • Custom Routing (Button)
  • Adding trip(s) to existing route
  • Removing trip(s) from existing route
  • Updating vehicle assignment for an existing route
  • Updating driver assignment for an existing route
• Automated workflows complete significantly faster and consistently across the following routing scenarios:
  • Auto-Routing
    • For organizations with auto-routing enabled and an interval configured in organization settings, routing jobs now complete more quickly when they are automatically triggered at the scheduled interval.
• These improvements may reduce the time required to cancel trips when using the “Deactivate rider to cancel all trips” workflow, although this area of the application was not a direct focus of the enhancements.
• Login stability improvements
  • As part of the routing performance enhancements, we resolved an issue where long-running routing jobs could disrupt active sessions or prevent users from logging back into the SHARE Admin platform.

SHARE Rider Details (Web, Mobile Web, and Mobile: iOS, Android)

• Riders should receive trip confirmation details more quickly.
