SHARE Mobility is partnering with Economic Development, Public Transit, and Health Departments to provide mobility for COVID-19 vaccinations & transportation to work in Ohio.
SHARE Mobility is working across the state to rapidly respond to the need for scheduled transportation that aids in vaccine access and the return to work.
Rides for Community Immunity
On March 12, ODOT announced a $7M program called "Rides for Community Immunity". We want
to make sure each county can take advantage of this program. Our technology and services are ready to support transit agencies and health departments across the state with transportation.
SHARE Mobility's software will give transit agencies the ability to provide 30-50% more rides than Uber or Lyft and it will give health providers the ability to offer transportation when scheduling vaccines (reduce no show rate and address social determinant of health).
Connecting with Employers for Commuter Benefits
SHARE Mobility helps companies use commuter benefits to fill open positions, especially in
rural areas. For one employer in London, OH, we helped them fill 20% of their jobs in 30 days by offering commuter benefits to a workforce that did not have transit as an available option.
We partner with transit agencies and create a pre-tax eligible service that employers offer as a benefit like healthcare. By making the commute better, we solve a top reason for turnover and a major barrier to accessing job opportunities. We can save employees $2500 or more per year vs the cost of driving and employers will have a competitive advantage that allows them to reach a broader, more diverse workforce.
