A significant visual and functional update to the SHARE Admin interface, alongside the introduction of Trip Notes, a new feature allowing organizations and riders to attach notes to trip requests.
This release introduces a series of visual and functional improvements across the SHARE Admin interface. The left navigation bar has been redesigned with collapsible, more descriptive headers to improve organization and ease of navigation. Along with the structural changes, pages throughout Daily Operations, Imports, Setup & Configuration, and Reports have received refreshed styling for improved readability and consistency. New functionality includes trip notes on trip requests, smarter button behavior with guiding tooltips, and several usability and performance enhancements to the Demand-Response Route Path Report.
The left navigation bar has been redesigned to improve clarity and organization. Headers are now collapsible, making it easier to focus on the sections most relevant to your workflow.
Renamed from Management. Provides quick access to everyday tasks, including live operations monitoring and trip request management. The Fixed Routes page link has been renamed to Fixed-Route Configuration and moved under the Setup & Configuration header. The Fleet Management page link has been renamed to Samsara Fleet Management and moved under the Setup & Configuration header.
Remains unchanged and continues to provide access to rider and trip request import tools.
Renamed from Setup. Provides access to organization and service configuration tools, along with tools for managing promo codes and marketing campaigns. Includes two page link additions relocated from Daily Operations: Fixed Routes (renamed to Fixed-Route Configuration) and Fleet Management (renamed to Samsara Fleet Management).
Provides access to reports segmented by service type, with dedicated subheaders for Demand-Response and Fixed-Route.
Remains unchanged and continues to provide access to commuter analysis and market analysis tools.
The Create Request modal now includes a Trip Notes section, allowing organization users to add or edit notes to a new or existing trip request. Supports up to 255 characters, including alphanumeric and special characters. Notes added by an organization user are visible to the rider, and vice versa. Trip notes can be added or updated after clicking on a trip row in the trip requests table, regardless of trip status. Notes are displayed alongside the corresponding rider's name in expanded route cards and in the trip requests table, visible on cursor hover.
Refreshed route card styling for improved readability. Expanding a route card now zooms the map to the route's location. Fixed-route cards now appear within the route card list, consolidating all cards in one place. Search improvements include updated placeholder text to better describe supported search options.
Both buttons now remain disabled until one or more trips in "Requested" status have been selected in the trip requests table. Tooltips have been added to guide users on the selection required to enable each button.
Improved routes list styling for clearer differentiation of routes. Added automatic map zoom to the selected route path. Introduced playback controls with adjustable speeds. Enabled CSV download directly from the selected routes panel. Improved loading states and enhanced selection states. Reduced the default filtering date range to optimize page load performance.
The following pages have received refreshed styling around filters, tables, and modals for improved readability. Action button tooltips have been updated throughout, and Download CSV buttons have been moved out of filter areas with updated tooltips.

Trip Notes is a new feature that allows organizations and riders to attach notes to new or existing trip requests, enabling clearer communication across the SHARE platform. Organization users can add, edit, and delete trip notes directly from SHARE Admin. Riders can do the same from the SHARE Rider web platform, with notes shared and visible between both parties.
Mobile support is on the way. Pending approval from the Google Play Store and Apple App Store, riders will soon be able to manage trip notes from the SHARE Rider mobile applications, and drivers will soon be able to view trip notes from the SHARE Driver mobile applications.
